In The Function of Education Jiddu Krishnamurti argues that the aim of education is to arrange people for life. That is finished by making college students be at liberty, in order that they can think freely, and will not conform to society. Society is corrupt, violent, and oppressive. If college students don’t think freely they may even be corrupt, violent, and oppressive. They should think freely so that they’ll insurgent against every part that’s mistaken with society, so that they can change society. That is totally true, but Krishnamurti doesn’t account for the way students will be taught to rebel, if their education will not be oppressive.
